Wonton

"Wonton" is a kind of dumplings served in a bowl of soup. The wonton is usually filled with fish, chicken, or shrimp, and wrapped with a smooth, silky outer layer made from flour. The food itself has been known since the period of the Tang dynasty in the seventh century, and has always served to celebrate the winter solstice.
Triangular shaped wonton is often compared to "Tortellini", atypical of Italian cuisine. Wonton dipped into warm, spicy and sour soup sometimes served as fried Wonton. This cuisine is great to be served as the appetizer as well as the main course.
